Introduction to Chinese Brush Painting |

Chinese painting is the traditional pictorial art which melted in the history of China for more than two thousand years. Chinese painting is known today in Chinese as Guo hua(国画), meaning 'national painting'. From October, 2009 to May, 2010, Chinese Painting Club of RCN will offer the Chinese Brush Painting classes*. The offered classes will cover the brief history of Chinese painting, basic skills to brush painting, and learn to draw the four Jun-zi, Plum, Orchid, Bamboo, and Mum. Time: Saturday, 3-4 PM, biweekly, (4 lessons a session, 4 sessions in all ) Instructors: Vicky Zhao, Peishi Chen, and local artists. Application Information
